The Rules of The Land Welcome to the KSI Forums. Our rules our pretty short, simple (and sometimes sweet & chewy). We (The Forum Staff) ask that you follow them at all times. Otherwise, Charlie will kick your butt. Let's get down to business. Your Rights: You have the right to remain here. Provided you follow the rules, or pay tribute in the form of Dr. Pepper.
Remember the KSI Code of Conduct? That still applies here. Remember the Forum Disclaimer? That applies too.
You have the right to have ONE and ONLY ONE forum account. All others will be found, will be subject to shock-therapy and Chinese water torture, and subsequently forcibly removed with the equivalent force of a nuclear bomb... Or a forum ban. (If you feel wrongful action was taken against you, contact a forum staff member).
Please don't post content that may be: Abusive, Obscene, Vulgar, Slanderous, Hateful, Threatening, Sexually-oriented, or just overall disrespectful. We will remove it, we will remove you, and then we'll go back to playing our games, and eating cheese puffs.
Be courteous to others. Even if you don't like them. We don't particularly care what reasons you have, which may or may not include: "They stole my pink doll (or "action figure") " or "They brought my K/D in the negative."
We ask politely that you keep your pictures of your cat out of the shoutbox. Or any other pictures for that matter. or videos, or GIFs (It's pronounced like Gift without the T, btw...), or basically any media that may stretch the shoutbox or cause inconvenience for others. Nobody likes an inconvenience.
Please follow any forum specific rules which may be conveniently posted in a Pinned Topic in the specific forums or in an Announcement of that forum. Failure to do so may result in a Nerf War or worse.
Please don't use the forums as your personal marketplace. We don't appreciate your requests for 48-hours, or your lovely ads for male-enhancement drugs.
We have the following tools at our disposal. Topic Locks, Topic Deletions, Post Deletions, Post Suspensions, Forum Suspensions, Forum Bans, IP Bans, Starvations, Executions, Floggings, Shock Therapy, and Good Ol' Fashioned Beatings with Leather Belts.
Oh, did we mention that we may use those tools at any time, for any reason we feel necessary, possibly without warning? Including if you break any of the rules listed here OR if we ask you to stop and you continue like a child in a supermarket? Yes, ... we may.

by KSI S0u1Gamerxx and KSI Zavala 7 A teacher, a trainer, a tutor. These are all words used in the same effect as a mentor, except, I feel that a mentor is more than that. They are a small minority of people, they who see potential and cultivate that. Like bees in a blossoming flower. Bees are a community; they live, work, teach, live, survive in the same hive. The mentor (bee) pollinates flowers but they specifically focus on blossoming flowers because they are the future. So just like the bees, mentors give there knowledge to the future for new leaders. To implant themselves into the men-tee but without destroying the ambition, passion and fire in their hearts. They have the ability to coach, these people into seeking and creating future goals. By having an open mind and a positive attitude, by being able to better themselves every time and create bigger goals as they grow. Men-tees, on the other hand, are like an untouched canvas, they are there waiting to be painted. They are open minded; they are just waiting to gain Knowledge, Strength and Integrity. He/she must wear many hats throughout the process. I don't mean process like a robot being built in a factory, I mean the development of the mind of a men-tee. This is a vital step in making a successful leader. Men-tee’s work to build skills, knowledge and abilities and become successful in all these key components. Their ability to qualify for receiving and acting on personal revelation is the single most important skill that can be acquired in this life. Successful men-tees recognize that relationships between mentor and men-tee takes time to develop like a blacksmith with his skill. They know that communication is a two way street, they help their mentor and vice verse. They are flexible, they move around their mentor, making room, time, and effort. But most important they are open minded; they will always consider all sides of the options An example of this is the relationship between myself (KSI S0u1Gamerxx) and Zeus (now known as KSI Zavala 7). I came into KSI, not knowing my ability, my strengths, my knowledge of KSI were very minimal, and my leadership qualities non-existent. Zeus was the person that I contacted and he instantly taught me about being a KSI member. He taught me to this day be who I am now - a leader. However the relationship between mentor and men-tee was built over a long period of time; it’s still growing today. Zeus has taught me to lead and be successful. He has taught me to be precise and consistent, like a shooter always hitting his targets. He told me to always define expectations, what he means by that is to set goals, make your mentor know what to expect from you. Following on from this he always asks to be positive in all situations apart form those where you feel you need to step in and to change or tweak any issues. ‘You’re the Night-Wing to my Batman, and we need to get these guys going!’ I love this quote by Zeus because it really does interpret what a mentor and men-tee should be defined as. They should never by opposite, however you can get cases where opposites attract like yin and yang. --------------------------------------------------------------- The relationship of mentor and mentee is much like a gardner and his garden to me, KSI Zavala 7. Sometimes a mentor will have a few mentees, and sometimes, such as with KSI Cali 7 is to me, there is only one. A mentor is like the embodiment of a solution, he has done the necessary training to do so; up holds that title. It's not given to you, but it's something that chooses you. Mentors hold the knowledge of knowing direction, placing things in set for the men-tee to use, and figure out how. I can say it's like a flame to light their darkest path or, watering seeds in the garden water symbolizes what we know, and we pour that to help the mentee grow and they eventually become a stem so we kick up the ingredients of their development, because at this point he's needing more than the water (knowledge). We now need Sunlight which is the motivation to get them going , fertilizer which is freedom, room to learn and experiment, then more water to aid in the phase of development. I can say Cali and I have mastered the relationship of Mentor and Men-tee. We share various ways of development like getting members to see their true potential, and communicating with our members to set a goal and accomplishing it without failure. This connection was built by trust and understanding our boundaries, meaning he's Ra's Al Ghul and I'm a very young Batman. I know I'm really good , but he can shape that greatness and focus it to a goal and not it being out of control. As you move into these two privileges you know that you play the Men-tee more than anything , because you learn from the experiences of your student that you teach. Let's embrace our learning and lead by example.
